What you'll do:
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries related to promotions, bulletins, updates, and petroleum products
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, area bids, and tenders, and communicate relevant insights to the Petroleum Team
Develop and grow petroleum, oil, and lubricant sales within the local and expanding trading area
Work with the Wholesale Petroleum Team to develop targeted approaches in regards to products, programs and pricing
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers while actively engaging in the trading area to anticipate short- and long-term customer needs
Utilize CRM and BRIC systems to track customer activity, report market insights, and support business plans, budgets, and pricing strategies
Achieve and monitor sales, margin, and inventory targets while expanding sales with existing and new customers
Communicate regularly with the Petroleum Team to ensure inventory levels align with customer demand
Support the Division Manager in executing transactions, campaigns, programs, and operational duties
Conduct routine sales support calls and travel as required for in-person meetings and training to educate customers and support informed purchasing decisions
Represent the bulk petroleum department at trade shows, community events, BBQs, and promotional activities
Assist with bulk petroleum operations in the warehouse and yard as required
Adhere to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
High School Diploma
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License
1-3 years of relevant sales, customer service, or petroleum-related experience
Availability to work a flexible schedule, with the ability to work up to 50 hours per week
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong, long-term customer relationships
Knowledge of petroleum, oil, and lubricant products, or the ability to quickly learn technical product information
Strong sales aptitude with experience meeting or exceeding sales, margin, and growth targets
Understanding of industry and market trends within the trading area
Experience using CRM systems and other sales or inventory management tools
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
Ability to analyze market and customer data to support business plans, budgets, and pricing strategies
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to actively work in the trading area, including customer site visits and community events
Ability to support bulk petroleum operations, including warehouse and yard activities, as required
