Key Responsibilities:
Conduct reservoir simulations and economic evaluations for conventional/unconventional assets.
Design and optimize drilling, completion, and production strategies.
Analyze well performance data and recommend improvements.
Prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance (AER, CER).
Collaborate with geoscientists on integrated asset modeling.
Support ESG-focused initiatives (e.g., methane reduction, CCUS projects).
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in upstream oil/gas (engineering consultancy or operator).
Proficiency in
PETREL
,
Eclipse
,
CMG
, or similar reservoir software.
Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks.
Experience with economic modeling (Aries, PHDwin) is preferred.
P.Eng. designation (APEGA) or eligibility to obtain.
