Position Overview

Fort St. John Co-op is hiring a

Petroleum Clerk

to support day-to-day operations at our

100 Ave Cardlock/C-Store

. This is an

entry-level

position responsible for delivering strong customer service, maintaining store standards, and supporting retail and petroleum functions.

Key Responsibilities

Operate POS and inventory systems Prepare orders for pickup or delivery Filling cylinder and automotive propane Perform general housekeeping and facility upkeep Merchandise stock, displays, and backroom inventory Comply with Food Safety standards while handling coffee and food products Follow all Co-op safety and operational procedures Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced retail setting Comfort working indoors, outdoors, and in warehouse environments Must be able to lift and handle product safely Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
