Petrogas \xe2\x80\x93 Supervisor, Maintenance, and Projects

Our Petrogas, Ferndale Terminal operation is looking for a Supervisor in our Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, Export Terminals, the Supervisor, Maintenance & Projects will be accountable for the overall maintenance management of the Ferndale Maintenance Team and assets. You will oversee the asset management system; provide coordination for maintenance activities; and provide planning support for outages. This position is part of the Operations Leadership Team and will participate in Risk Watch activities to ensure alignment of priorities with tasks being performed onsite.

You Will

Provide leadership to maintenance personnel, being responsible for supervision, development and recruitment of talented individuals to better the team. Provide direction and coaching through quarterly reviews and STI program value drivers

Help to develop annual maintenance budgets for maintenance activities and appropriately administer the budget throughout year to meet or exceed targets

Approve and monitor maintenance team requisitions

Ensure training requirements & training competences of the maintenance staff is current & that all training material is maintained up to date

Support personal development of maintenance staff through trade developmental courses and seminars

Ensure \xe2\x80\x9con call\xe2\x80\x9d availability for Maintenance Team support

Manage team use of the maintenance CMMS program, Maximo, ensuring that all Work Orders and PM\xe2\x80\x99s are up to date and completed efficiently. Identifying areas of efficiency for PM\xe2\x80\x99s and Job Plans and ensure entry of requisitions for materials and services as required

Work with Operations to ensure effective job planning

Maintain/Support a Maintenance and Outage schedule and efficiently maintain excellent plant reliability of the Ferndale assets to maximize throughputs.

Facilitate ongoing technical liaison with management and staff from various departments including Engineering, Integrity Management and Operations

Participate in special projects at various levels as determined by the team. Turnaround planning support, commissioning of new equipment, HAZOP reviews, etc.

Ensure all maintenance activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and Altagas/ PetroGas codes of practice

Ensure development and auditing of training packages for maintenance MOC and project changes

Responsible for supporting the development of maintenance procedures for regular and project related work and ensure they are current

Provide guidance and audit in progress and completed Like in Kind Packages.

Provide support to Production Accounting in metering verifications and approvals (as support to Superintendent, Operations)

Execute and support criticality assessments, sparing and inventory management

Liaison with Asset Management team in support of the development and progression of Ferndale AMP programs

Assume ERP roles as required and train in the Incident Commander Role

Bring forward optimization ideas to Operations Leadership Team

Act as liaison between Facilities Engineer and maintenance to ensure optimization activities are planned, completed and documented

You Have

Journeyman Trade Certificate or Rotating/Mechanical Trade preferred.

Minimum 8 years industry experience

Ability to hold or obtain a Washington State driver\'s license.

Strong background using Maximo or similar computer based maintenance program and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Project

Experience managing a Maintenance Department and team of trades professionals

Excellent supervisory and communication skills

Incident Command experience an asset

Ability to periodically travel Internationally

In addition to our standard benefits package, the estimated base salary for this role will range from $125,000 - $140,000, depending on experience.
