The Arbutus Club, one of Canada's finest Private Family Clubs, is seeking a highly motivated

Personal Trainer.

The Arbutus Club has been a landmark in Vancouver since 1964 and is now a modern recreation complex with first class food and beverage services.

We have an integrated wellness team including physiotherapy, personal training and massage therapy. We are looking for a self-motivated Personal Trainer who has a flexible schedule and is able to work in an open gym setting around general members and other trainers. We offer competitive commission rates and full marketing and administrative support.
Job Duties

Provide professional assessments, one on one or small group sessions and programs within a broad community of ages and fitness levels. Thorough reporting, record keeping and follow up. Contribute ideas and skills toward a respectful and thriving workplace. Flexible schedule to allow for accelerated growth.
Certification/Skill Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills. Have excellent listening skills. Ability to effectively communicate between wellness disciplines. Valid recognized Personal Training certification. Experience with sport specific training is an asset. Please include an overview of past experience in this area if applicable. Minimum 5 years' experience. Other Industry related certifications are an asset. Private insurance covering your scope of practice is required.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
