Key Responsibilities
Assess clients' fitness levels, goals, and training history
Design and deliver customized strength training and conditioning programs using OBF's proven coaching system
Motivate, coach, and hold clients accountable to reach fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle goals
Track and report progress (performance metrics, body composition, client feedback)
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
Represent the OBF community with professionalism and enthusiasm
Continuously develop your knowledge through mentorship and education opportunities
Qualifications
2 - 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Coach, or Strength Coach
Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (preferred but not required)
Valid Personal Training certification from a reputable provider such as CSEP, NSCA, ACE, or CanFitPro
Strong foundation in movement assessment, strength training, and client programming
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for client results and professional development

Schedule & Availability
Evening availability required: Monday to Friday, 5:00 - 8:00 PM
Trainers typically progress to a minimum of 25 hours/week once their client roster is established
Occasional weekends for community events or workshops
