Overview


Big Sky Fitness is seeking a passionate and experienced

Personal Trainer

who is dedicated to helping members achieve their health and fitness goals through individualized programming, motivation, and education. Our trainers play an integral role in providing exceptional service, fostering lasting client relationships, and contributing to an environment centered on growth and transformation.

Big Sky's experienced

sales and member support team

actively works to fill each trainer's client roster, ensuring that new trainers can focus on what they do best--coaching, educating, and delivering exceptional training experiences--while maintaining a steady flow of new clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of human movement, and a genuine passion for helping others live healthier, more active lives.

Responsibilities



Conduct professional, client-centered personal training sessions based on individual goals and assessments Design and implement safe, effective, and progressive exercise programs Lead introductory sessions for new members, providing education and guidance on proper use of equipment Proactively contact and follow up with members via phone and email to schedule sessions and maintain engagement Track client progress and adapt programming as needed to ensure consistent results Collaborate with other trainers and departments to create a cohesive, supportive team environment Maintain accurate records of client sessions, attendance, and program notes Uphold a clean, organized, and welcoming training space

Qualifications



Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, CSEP, ACE, or equivalent -

required

) 2+ years of personal training experience (5 years preferred) Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise science Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Passionate about health, fitness, and continuous personal growth

From $40 per hour
