Personal Support Workers (PSWs)

for

1:1 Care

at a Long-Term Care facility in

Orillia, ON

. We currently seek staff who are local and able to commute to Orillia.

Role: PSW - 1:1 Caregiver

In this role, you will:

Provide direct personal care and supervision to residents Deliver services in alignment with each resident's healthcare needs Ensure compassionate, safe, and high-quality care at all times

Requirements

Minimum

9 months of experience

working in a long-term care setting, and worked in a one-on-one resident role Successful completion of a recognized

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate Program

Vulnerable Sector Check

(within 6 months)

2-step TB test

(within 6 months)

or chest x-ray

(within 12 months)

Immunization records

(MMR, Varicella, tDap; Hepatitis B is an asset) Valid

N95 mask fit test

and

CPR certification

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Do you have a recognized Ontario PSW certificate? (Please note: your certificate will be forwarded to the NACC or your school to be verified. Fraudulent certificate submissions will result in a declined application.) Do you have a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and TB Test completed within the last 6 months? Please note, this would be required prior to an interview. Do you have a minimum of 6 months of Long Term Care Experience employed as a PSW ? Clinical placement does not qualify. Are you able to commute to Orillia within 30-45 minutes for shifts? Have you provided 1:1 supervision or care in an LTC or similar healthcare setting?
