Personal Home Support Worker

to assist a family with day-to-day household tasks and occasional toddler care. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsible, and enjoys working in a family-oriented environment. Fluency in

English, Hindi, and Punjabi

is required to effectively communicate with all family members.

Duties

Assist with daily household chores such as tidying up, light cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Help with meal preparation and kitchen clean-up. Occasionally handle grocery shopping or running small errands. Provide responsible care and supervision for a toddler during short periods when the parents are unavailable. Offer a friendly and respectful presence in the home, supporting a calm and well-organized environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar support role or working with families or young children is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Trustworthy and reliable, with a professional and respectful demeanor. Ability to manage tasks independently and take initiative when needed. Basic cooking or meal prep skills are an asset. Must enjoy being around children and have a caring, patient nature. ECE would be an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
