Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The Support Worker will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Medication reminders as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home or community.
• Support individuals with disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices and patient care techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.40-$20.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
