Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, people with disabilities, and those experiencing dementia. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Offer companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments by implementing specialized care strategies Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

Experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings preferred Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client well-being Basic knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require evening or weekend availability Valid certification or training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
