Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those requiring assistance in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support.

Duties

Provide home care services to individuals with disabilities and seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Support clients in assisted living environments or nursing homes, promoting independence while ensuring their needs are met. Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance their physical and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards. Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, using appropriate techniques to manage behaviors. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

Experience in home care, senior care, or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration practices is a plus. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
