Weather, proximity to major centres (Windsor and Detroit) and an extremely affordable cost of living add to Leamington\xe2\x80\x99s charm.In A Nutshell:Under the general supervision of the professional nursing staff, provides personal care to the residents of the Sun Parlor Home including physical, emotional and social care.Day In The Life:Helps orient new residents to the HomeAssisting resident with personal care and activities of daily livingSupporting independence of the resident through restorative care practicesEnsuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs asinstructed in the resident\xe2\x80\x99s care plansEngaging residents in leisure activitiesEnsuring the health, safety, and welfare of residentsAssisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a residentDocumenting and recording daily care reports.Attends meetings and training related to these dutiesReports care concerns to the registered staff as neededAdministers simple treatmentsAdhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the provinceWhat We Are Looking For:Minimum Grade 12 EducationPersonal Support Worker Certificate or actively enrolled in studies as an RN or RPN and completion of one year of full time studiesMinimum of 1 Year Related ExperienceWhat We Are Offering$25.71 per hourApplication Process:Qualified applicants are invited to apply online at the Career Opportunities section of our website at www.countyofessex.ca by the posting deadline.
