Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, including those with disabilities, dementia, and other health challenges. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them in their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects. Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior. Support clients with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and housekeeping.

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living environments is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of hospice care practices and patient care techniques is advantageous. Skills in medication administration are beneficial for this role. A background in nursing or related fields can enhance your candidacy.
