Job Description

Our company is in need of a Support Worker to assist individuals with daily tasks that are related to their needs and provide them with support and assistance. You will work from our offices, provide training and supervise the work of other care staff. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable with some physical work, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and have a desire to help others. The job duties of a Support Worker include assisting individuals with daily tasks, such as getting up, dressing, or eating. Furthermore, you will support them emotionally by helping them overcome their daily challenges (e.g. anxiety) or difficulties (e.g. managing money).Responsibilities:

• Provide limited level of care to patients.
• Adjusted to the needs of each patient by providing physical, emotional, social and spiritual support.
• Assist with personal hygiene and comfort of patients.
• Gather information from patients, families and doctors to complete care plans and provide consistent support.
• Aid with the administration of medications; Provide basic nursing care, first aid and assistance with exercise, eating and mobility (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming etc.).
• Provide positive encouragement to patients.,Ensure patient safety by following protocols for medication and testing administration.,Monitor all equipment regularly to ensure safe working conditions, implement necessary procedures and report any issues to medical staff.
