We are hiring Personal/Home Support Workers to join our team in

Georgetown

and surounding areas!

Candidates must be available for a variety of visit times, including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or nights and some holidays.

Duties:

Assists clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts
and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.

Provide medication reminders, in accordance with established policies Plans, prepares and serves meals, shops for groceries. Performs light housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and laundry Observes clients and their environments, reports unsafe conditions and behavioural, physical and/or cognitive changes to supervisor Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as visit notes Accompanies clients on outings such as appointments, shopping, and leisure activities Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle Current certificate in standard First-aid and CPR (BLS level) PSW training certificate, IE nurses, HSW, PCA, HCA or equivalent Police Vulnerable Sector Screen Check (VSSC) 2 step TB 2 professional references Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed
