We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with meal preparation to ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Supporting individuals with disabilities by helping them engage in daily activities and promoting independence. Performing heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for those in your care. Assisting clients with dementia care by employing appropriate communication techniques and activities tailored to their needs.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in patient care or related fields such as nursing homes or senior care is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in hospice care settings is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A compassionate approach towards providing support to individuals facing various challenges, including dementia care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
