As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized support and assistance to enhance the well-being of those in your care.

Duties

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor Residents for any changes in health status. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients.

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to clients. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A valid certification or training in caregiving or nursing is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care. Pay: $19.27-$19.77 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 44 per week
