Role :



We are seeking experienced and dedicated

Clinical Instructors

to join our NACC-accredited Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program. Clinical Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating the practical/lab components, supervising students during their first 100 hours of clinical placement, and providing ongoing support to students throughout their internship and community placements. This role ensures that students gain the essential hands-on skills, professional knowledge, and confidence required to succeed as PSWs in Ontario.

Practical Instruction



Instruct and teach students in the lab/practical components of PSW modules. Demonstrate and evaluate skills in accordance with the NACC PSW curriculum. Conduct skills assessments, exams, and practical evaluations.

Clinical Placement Supervision



Supervise students during the first 100 hours of their clinical placement at long-term care or community host sites. Ensure students adhere to safety protocols, professional conduct, and client-centered care practices. Provide direct evaluation and feedback to support student growth and competency.

Assessment & Reporting



Conduct exams, grade student performance, and provide feedback in a timely manner. Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, evaluations, and progression reports. Submit documentation in compliance with Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and NACC requirements.

Internship Support



Provide remote support via email/phone to students completing the remaining 200 hours of internship placement. Act as a point of contact for students facing academic, clinical, or adjustment challenges. Liaise with host sites to monitor student progress and address issues as needed.

Student Success & Mentorship



Provide academic guidance and mentorship to support student success. Encourage professional values, teamwork, and ethical care practices. Support the transition of students into their professional roles as Personal Support Workers.

Qualifications :



Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration in good standing and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Minimum two (2) years of recent, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in long-term care, community, or chronic care. Minimum two (2) years of teaching / Instructor experience is required. Prior teaching or training experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to professional integrity, student success, and quality education.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
