We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals ina retirement home setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities through attentive caregiving, medication management, and support with daily activities. Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with mobility when necessary to ensure safety during transfers. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively Document care activities accurately and report any changes in condition promptly

Qualifications

Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care preferred Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is highly desirable Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are essential
