Personal Support Workers

As a

Personal Support Worker

your primary responsibility in the Resident Care department would be to provide personal care and services to each resident. These services will be provided under the supervision and direction of the Director of Care/Shift Supervisor or designate.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate caregiving and support to clients in their daily activities. Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their comfort and safety. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements:

Possess a current PSW certificate. Experience working in Memory Care setting Genuine interest in and concern for seniors. Experience in Retirement or long-term care desirable. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Ability to learn and apply basic life skills through on-the-job training.
