Your mission as a Caring Team Member:
Ensure the client's health and safety
Assist with personal care such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
Help with feeding through PEG
Carry out light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
Assist with mobility, including lifting and transfers when needed
Experience required for this role:
Experience with PEG tube feeding is MANDATORY
PDSB training is MANDATORY
Bill 90 certification to delegated medical tasks (such as medication assistance) is required
Certified training as a Personal Support Worker (including CPR)
Previous experience in a similar role
Familiarity with the needs of individuals using wheelchairs
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort or lifting
Knowledge of patient care procedures and protocols
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
