Responsibilities

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those dealing with dementia or chronic illnesses.
Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and caregivers, to implement care plans effectively.
Experience
Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or working in a nursing home setting is preferred.
Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or require senior care is highly valued.
Knowledge of dementia care techniques will be beneficial for this role.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families are essential.
