We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including home care environments. This role is vital in promoting the well-being, independence, and comfort of clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or dementia care. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote independence and dignity Provide patient care including mobility assistance, medication administration, and health monitoring as needed Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition Help with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to enhance their quality of life Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to prevent injury Follow care plans accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility protocols

Qualifications

Experience in PSW work Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, senior care, and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience Basic understanding of medication administration and meal preparation Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory Must be reliable, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality support to clients
