We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to residents in our healthcare facility. This role involves assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The Support Worker will play a vital part in delivering personalized care, fostering a supportive environment, and maintaining the dignity of those we serve. Responsibilities

Administer bedside and personal care to residents Assist residents with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support. Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder) Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions as appropriate Feed or assist in feeding residents as needed Launder clothing and household linens Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals promptly Provide personal care and maintain accurate documentation as required Plan, Prepare and serve nutritious meals May perform routine health-related duties and/or other duties assigned by the Owner/Operator

Qualifications

Prior experience in nursing homes, senior care, home care, or working with people with disabilities is preferred Knowledge of personal care, medication administration, and medical terminology is advantageous Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding situations Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Basic understanding of assisted living environments and hospice care practices is desirable Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing respectful support tailored to individual needs

Pay: $18.05 per hour
