Personal Support Worker for Home Care

We are looking for a highly motivated, well-spoken and energetic professional to be part of a dynamic home care team.

This role is focused on supporting a young adult male with his personal care, educational and social skills development, as well as coordinating daily life events, activities, and appointments.

You have a strong

work ethic

and have been providing

exceptional

care for 5-10 years as a certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) or higher.

with other members of the home care team but you also have the confidence to work independently and make a difference.

This role requires a keen

attention to detail

, especially in administering medications and charting.

The use of specialized equipment and assistive technology for physical transfers, mobility and communication is something you're comfortable with as well as occasional assisted lifting.

You will be working in a private family home where

discretion, confidentiality, privacy, and reliability

are of the utmost importance. The environment is non-smoking and scent free.

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE MANDATORY and you must have your own vehicle.

Schedule:

Day shifts start at 8:00 am Occasional Evening shifts Mostly Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.50-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
