Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to an adult female. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for her through personalized care and assistance in our home and in various community activities.

Responsibilities

Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance her well being. Administer medications as prescribed. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to her preferences.. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Strong caregiving skills, including meal preparation and cleaning abilities. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with non-verbal individual. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Relevant certifications in caregiving or healthcare support are advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
