Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, people with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or dementia care. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met Help clients with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure safety during transfers or repositioning Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques Follow all safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation of care provided Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver consistent and personalized care plans

Qualifications

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, hospice, or senior care is preferred Knowledge of patient care, caregiving techniques, and medication administration Experience working with people with disabilities or those requiring dementia or hospice care is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs Strong communication skills and compassionate nature Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not required Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing respectful and dignified support to clients
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
