Eden Care Communities is hiring in our Broadway Terrace - Harvest Haven location. Harvest Haven is a Personal Care Home with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week care. The Community Care Partner provides personal and supportive care and activities for residents\' daily living to encourage an optimum level of functioning. The incumbent will support Elders in meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Role Requirements: Direct Care and Monitoring of Residents

• Assist with activities of daily living as per care plan
• Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day
• Observe, report and record physical and psychological status
• Administer medication as per protocols
• Follow all consistent approaches and restrictive procedures
• Support individuals out in the community, attending activities and work placements
• Handle and diffuse crisis situations as they arise
• Promote the social, spiritual and emotional well being of residents

Indirect Care

• Record information in residents\' charts
• Perform cleaning duties within the home
• Cook for residents
• Clean and sanitize all related equipment and surroundings

Qualifications:

• Personal Care Worker\'s Certificate
• Valid First Aid and CPR
• Food Safe Handling required
• Clear Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector
• TLR and Medication Assistance Course is an asset
• Experience in housekeeping and/or personal care is an asset
• Excellent command of verbal and written English
• Valid, Full Class 5 Saskatchewan driver\'s licence
