PRIMARY DUTIES

As a Personal Support Worker you will:

Provide personal care to clients in their home or residential facility with compassion

Assist clients with personal care tasks of daily living

Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately

Observe, document and report any changes in the client's condition

Other duties relevant to the job as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

As a Personal Support Worker, you must have:

PSW/DSW/PA+2 Certificate or OTA/PTA Certificate or HCA Certificate or Nursing Student

Foreign Trained Nurse/Mid Wife or Physicians

Current CPR Level C and First Aid

Valid driver's license and vehicle

Current and Clean Vulnerable Sector check screening is required upon hire

Available to work every other weekend

Ability to work independently or well as part of a team

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to travel from client to client within the community
