About the position - we are looking to hire a full-time individual that appreciates children, treats them with respect, and enjoys being with them. This position will require providing 1-on-1 support to a child in our care who needs additional assistance in the preschool classroom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining standards, ensuring a safe and clean environment, positive parent relations, and ensuring the safety and care of children at our programs. This is a full-time 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday position providing 1-on-1 support to a child age 3 to 5 years old. The hourly wage for this position is $20.49/hour. Qualifications/Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Previous childcare experience. \xc2\xb7 Shares Go-Go\xe2\x80\x99s philosophy of treating children with respect and dignity: Always taking the time to carefully listen to them. \xc2\xb7 Would be described by your friends as a leader. \xc2\xb7 Good communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to listen carefully, speak clearly, and remain calm with parents, staff, and children. \xc2\xb7 Experience with managing challenging behavior and setting boundaries. \xc2\xb7 Can express yourself well and are able to address parents and their concerns intelligently and graciously. \xc2\xb7 Workplace First Aid with CPR C and AED certification. \xc2\xb7 Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance. \xc2\xb7 Social Development Check.
