Participation Lodge Grey-Bruce is a not-for-profit organization that strives to empower and enrich the lives of the individuals we support. We have many faucets with which we connect with the community, but our main physical site in Holland Centre is currently seeking Personal Support Workers to join our wonderful team! Participation Lodge is home to 22 individuals who require varying degrees of support. While we are considered a large group home, our small size allows for more individualized care and provides a calmer-paced work environment compared to large care facilities or hospitals. :

• Provide a wide range of support for individuals as per their Individualized Support Plan (ISP)
• Assist with day-to-day needs, such as mouth and hair care, camode transfers, and eating assistance for some supported individuals
• Collaborate with other services to provide dynamic and individualized support for residents
• Support physical and communication developments, or other goals set by the individuals

Qualifications:

• Completion of relevant college-level PSW training preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Professional or personal experience working with individuals who have complex needs is preferred
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention certified, or willingness to complete in-house training
• A clean driver\'s abstract to be added to company insurance, if use of our vehicles is required
