We are currently recruiting for a Personal Services Attendant who is compassionate, cheerful, reliable, respectful, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with seniors.
Hours of work are typically 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. 2 days per week, weekends included.
Specific duties and responsibilities of this position shall include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure the Tub Room is safe, clean and comfortable at all times.
Adhere to BDSHA Procedures for Therapeutic Tub Use.
Coordinate resident appointments with Resident Services Team.
Assist guests with inquiries and provide outstanding customer service
Monitor and maintain inventory of towels and other bathing supplies
Provide guidance and direction to guests regarding bathhouse etiquette and procedures
Assist guests with the use of bathhouse equipment and facilities
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
Respond to Med Calls as required.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience
Maintain accurate records of all resident logs, cleaning activities, and incidents reported during the shift.
Adhere strictly to all Barrhead & District Housing Association policies and procedures.
Follow WHMIS regulations regarding the use of chemical cleaners.
Responsible for maintaining self-wellness and reduced absenteeism.
Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Resident Services Manager.

Must be mentally and physically fit to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in the Healthcare Field with certification is considered a valuable asset
Sincere desire to work with and support vulnerable populations, specifically seniors.
Current First Aid certification.
Must be bondable and able to provide a clean criminal record check.
Must keep affairs of the Association confidential.
Tasks will include walking over uneven terrain, carrying, lifting up to 50lbs, team lifting, manual cleaning, bending, and sitting for prolonged periods.
