This is an in-office position for our Edmonton office.The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing and growing a book of business by doing the following: Service existing clients with renewals, changes, and inquiries Answer quote requests, cross sell, and ask for referrals to secure new business Assist clients outside of their book when other Personal Lines Account Managers are unavailable This position involves servicing clients in person, over the phone and through email communicationThe ideal candidate will have HEART, plus the following qualifications: Level 1 Insurance License, with a preference to Level 2 Committed to furthering their insurance education Track record of providing excellent customer service Strong work ethic and a drive to succeed in a high performing environment Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong working knowledge of company portals, Epic, & Applied Rating Services Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word & Excel Able to multitask and thrives in a fast-paced environment Previous experience as a personal lines broker is required Strong knowledge of underwriting regulations is requiredBenefits of a career at Armour include: Great culture where you love your job A transparent workplace - you know the goals, where we stand, and how you contribute Comprehensive financial rewards that recognize your success Employer's RRSP contribution matching plan and a comprehensive benefits program Generous personal and annual vacation days A workplace where your ideas and thoughts are valued Fun staff outings (you just missed a great weekend retreat!)
