Personal Lines Account Manager




BIG Alta Vista is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. An Account Manager is a licensed Service Broker who is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service excellence to our clients, and spearhead customer retention efforts by conducting client reviews, remarketing policies at renewal, processing policy service requests, and endorsement changes. This role requires a relationship-oriented individual with strong organizational, time management, customer service, and analytical skills. You will need to be comfortable working with technology in a digital environment. This role will involve customer facing interactions with an emphasis on telephone & email communications, and virtual meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications:



Must have



RIBO license. 3+ years' experience in the insurance industry as a Personal Lines Account Manager. Degree in any discipline from a recognized Canadian University or Insurance Diploma from a College. Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English. Experience using Powerbroker and Applied Rating Systems software. Reside in the Greater Ottawa area.

Nice-to-have



CAIB, CIP, FCIP or similar professional designations are an asset. Personal Lines Underwriting or Sales experience is an asset. Fluency in other languages is an asset.

Responsibilities:



Support the sales brokers while providing a superior level of service Administer, support and complete policy changes within our company partners' portals and websites. Review policies and recommend coverages based on clients' needs. Deliver an exceptional customer experience every time. Adhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partners. Comply with market underwriting guidelines as well as company policies and standards. Ensure appropriate forms and other policy requirements are completed. Co-ordinate and follow up on client documents and payments. Consistently achieve monthly service quality targets. Salary Range:



This is a Salaried position which also provides bonus incentives for new business and renewals Base salary starting at $48,000 per annum, paid monthly. Bonus incentives for achieving service quality targets (e.g. retention and loss ratios) Commission earned for first-year new business sales.
