Personal Lines Technical Service Representative

The Opportunity
As a TSR, you'll be the behind-the-scenes force that keeps things running smoothly for our Personal Lines brokers and clients. This entry-level position offers real responsibility from day one and provides an excellent foundation for building your insurance career. Your primary focus is supporting the Personal Lines service team with timely documentation, follow-ups, data entry, and coordination of files and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Policy Precision:
Review policy documents for accuracy and rating while processing renewals with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
Maintain Account Accuracy:
Maintain precise client records in our Broker Management System, following established workflows with attention to detail.
Support Team Success:
Proactively support CSRs, completing daily functions, and stepping in during peak times and vacations to maintain service standards.
Coordinate External Relationships:
Communicate effectively with insurers, claims adjusters, and other third-party partners to resolve inquiries efficiently.
Provide Front-Line Support:
Offer backup coverage to reception, ensuring clients always receive a welcoming and professional first impression.
Protect Information Integrity:
Handle confidential client data with absolute integrity while maintaining organized, accessible file systems that support seamless operations.
Contribute to Team Growth:
Participate in training sessions, share knowledge with teammates, and bring fresh perspectives to process improvements.

Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 education (post-secondary an asset)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
Clear written and verbal communication skills that build rapport

Demonstrated proficiency with Office 365 and the digital competency to excel in our technology-driven environment
