About The Role
We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a dynamic Personal Insurance Group Business Development Manager to join our Personal Lines team. Responsibilities:
Discover and nurture business prospects within the Personal Insurance group insurance sector, concentrating on acquiring and preserving clients.
Foster and uphold robust connections with key decision-makers and HR professionals, advocating for our group insurance products and services.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor insurance solutions according to client needs, ensuring a gratifying client experience.
Conduct comprehensive needs analyses and assessments for potential clients, grasping their insurance requirements and furnishing personalized solutions.
Swiftly and effectively address concerns or issues by closely collaborating with the internal and external stake holders.
Monitor portfolio performance, encompassing growth metrics, retention rates and loss ratios.
Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and key performance indicators to senior management.
Craft and deliver captivating presentations to potential clients, spotlighting the advantages of our group insurance offerings.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and proficiently manage the sales pipeline, providing precise sales forecasts.
Aid senior management and the marketing team in formulating marketing strategies and initiatives.
Monitor and track industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to make strategic recommendations for business growth.
Qualifications:
Hold a Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing or a related field.
Demonstrate a proven track record of 5 years in business development within the insurance industry, particularly in the group insurance segment.
Possess a profound understanding of group insurance products, industry regulations, and market dynamics.
Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to construct and sustain relationships at all levels.
Showcase self-motivation, goal orientation, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Function as a robust team player while maintaining the ability to work independently.
Showcase a proactive and anticipatory approach, coupled with the ability to handle confidential material.
Possess the capability to travel.
Exhibit proficiency in MS Office and experience with Epic or a similar insurance broker management system.

Required Travel: Up to 25%
