Bernstein Law Group is currently seeking an experienced
Personal Injury Assistant / Law Clerk
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and be capable of managing files from intake through to trial, including Accident Benefits and Tort matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicating with clients in person, by phone, and in writing
Drafting pleadings and other legal documents
Requesting and organizing productions
Referring clients to appropriate medical and rehabilitative treatment
Managing Accident Benefits claims
Filing LAT applications, preparing for case conferences and hearings
Managing Tort claims
Reviewing and summarizing files
Drafting correspondence
Liaising with insurance companies and opposing counsel
Working closely with the lawyer to develop and implement litigation strategies
Communicating with experts and coordinating reports
Assisting in trial preparation
Qualifications:
Experience in personal injury law
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Dependable, proactive, and a collaborative team player
Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
