Working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, Personal Care Workers support and supervise individuals with physical abilities; use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities; prepare and serve meals as planned; administer prescribed medications.


The Licensed Group Home is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Cognitive, Mental and Physical Disabilities that require 24/7 care.

Key Responsibilities

Support and supervise individuals with physical disabilities; Use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities, recreational and other services; Prepare and serve meals as planned; Assess needs of residents on an on-going basis; Maintain sanitation of Group Home; 12- hour shift with rotating schedule; Other duties as assigned by supervisor;

Education:

Minimum Grade 12 Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Aide, or Home Health Aide Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

Previous home care or childcare experience is preferred Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset

Licenses:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License preferred

Other Education and Training:

Certified First Aid & CPR (required or willing to obtain) Safe Food Handling Certificate (required or willing to obtain)
