Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence in their home environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and have experience in home care, hospice care, or assisted living settings.

Duties

Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive nutritious meals according to dietary needs. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed healthcare plans. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space for clients. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

Requirements

Previous experience in patient care, caregiving, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and the ability to work with individuals with disabilities or mobility issues are advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Proficiency in Polish language is required Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Certification as a health care aide or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
