About The Opportunity:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Attendant to assist a 23-year-old female client who is a manual wheelchair user. The role involves providing support with daily living activities, maintaining a safe environment, and offering emotional and social support to improve the client's overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Living Assistance:
Assist with cooking and meal preparation Provide mobility support, including helping with transfers and heavy lifting as necessary. Offer transportation assistance, ensuring safe and timely travel to appointments, social outings, or errands.
Light Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
Companionship & Emotional Support:
Offer companionship and engage in conversations
Additional Information:
The client is a young female manual wheelchair user, and this role requires hands-on assistance and mobility support. Training and guidance will be provided for tasks such as lifting and transfers. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, with potential for both daytime and evening shifts.
