Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience in warehouse operations.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience in warehouse settings is preferred, including familiarity with inventory processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely (certification preferred). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
