Position: Class 1/AZ Driver
Location: Gatineau
Salary: $28 to $34 per hour based on experience
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift from 4:30 a.m./5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Benefits: Medical, dental and drug coverage after 30 days, $10, 000 retention bonus

Job Requirements:

- Hold a class 1 driver\'s license (FM endorsement)
- Have a very good driving record
- Be able to provide a driver\'s abstract (30 days)
- Have a clean criminal history
- Be able to provide 2 professional references
- Have at least 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Have a good knowledge of the region\'s road network (an asset)
- Bilingualism (English and French) an asset

:

- Perform manual unloading
- Handle 700 boxes of 5 lbs to 70 lbs each on a daily basis
- Provide customer service
- Drive the truck according to the regulations from the drop off point in the morning until the end of the shift (20% road, 80% handling)
- Perform mechanical inspections of equipment
- Ensure the accuracy of orders
- Provide excellent service to our customers
- Respect all company policies and procedures
- Perform all tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Deliver outdoors in all seasonal weather
- Handle all types of food and beverage products including: seafood, beef, pork, produce, wine, nuts, spices, milk, eggs, etc.
