Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them select perfumes that match their preferences and lifestyle Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain fragrance notes, usage tips, and brand stories to educate and excite shoppers Assist customers with product demos, sampling stations, and answering questions about different scents and brands Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance Upsell complementary products such as body lotions or gift sets to enhance the customer's purchase experience Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure the store always looks inviting Keep the sales floor organized by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring products are well-presented at all times Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations to uphold professional communication standards Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and reporting low-stock items to management

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in fragrance, cosmetics, or grocery store environments Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions Knowledge of merchandising principles and experience with stocking products effectively Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and active listening abilities Ability to demonstrate product demos confidently while maintaining professional phone etiquette Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
