About the role:

We\'re looking for a phenomenal People Operations (HR) Generalist to play a key role in supporting our team\'s day-to-day operations, and making sure our people are truly proud of where they work. As an early hire on our People Ops team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work across multiple teams to ensure excellent employee experiences and operational efficiency. You\'ll champion culture, own recruitment, and will be a big part of developing and executing our People Ops policies and programs. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you\'ll help facilitate a high-touch, people-first, high-performance culture.

As an HR Generalist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting new hires: Acting as the lifeline for new Creative Marketeers, you\'ll own onboarding and support new hires through questions, tools and benefits setup, and general first-week jitters. You\'ll create and keep employee files up to date and ensure all required documents are signed and processed.
  • Being a culture ambassador: You\'ll help organize and facilitate virtual and in-person team events to keep Creative Marketeers feeling engaged and connected.
  • General administration: This includes tracking and coordinating company equipment and software, owning our tools and subscriptions, assisting with benefits administration, and keeping our HRIS and payroll up to date with accurate employee information.
  • Recruitment: With support from the Director of People Operations, you\'ll own the hiring process across the company. You\'ll work with various managers and key stakeholders when hiring, ensure candidates have a stellar experience in the hiring pipeline, and foster relationships with top candidates, seeing them through the entire process from phone screen to onboarding. You\'ll also work to build a network of potential candidates to tap into for future hiring efforts.

  • Excitement to learn: We\'re looking for someone with 1-2+ years of experience in office management, HR admin, or similar People Ops roles who\xe2\x80\x99s ready to continue learning and growing.
  • Meticulous organization: You have a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask across a variety of projects. You have a system for everything, so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Proactivity about making things happen: You\'re always on the lookout for how to make life at Creative Market a little better.
  • Someone who\xe2\x80\x99s warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. You love celebrating people and helping them find what they need, and you casually organize chaos with ease and grace. You\'re approachable and supportive.
  • Someone trustworthy and responsible: You\'re able to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Experience working with HR software, and communication tools like Gmail and Slack.
