Who you are





The People Operations Admin role will focus on helping the HR and operations team, at samdesk, run smoothly and efficiently. The person in this role will support day-to-day HR and office operations.




What your day could look like?




Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs and supporting the interview process. Assist with employee onboarding including setting up desk and equipment for new hires, creating and mailing welcome packages. Assist with device and IT access management including maintaining IT inventory, generating IT onboarding and offboarding tickets. Assist with timesheets and reporting for government grants. Assist with employee benefits administration including setting up new employees on the benefits plan and offboarding the departing employees. Review employee expenses for monthly payroll submission. Support the function of our physical office space - ordering supplies, coordinating maintenance and repairs, booking facilities, as needed. Greet and assist visitors and guests, ensuring they are properly logged and hosted. Assist with coordinating meetings, conferences, celebrations, and other company events. Other duties, as assigned and requested by the operations and admin team.



Required Skills & Qualifications:




Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or Office Administration field Familiarity with MS-Suite including MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and G-Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

People Operations Lead




Work arrangement:

In-office for the training period (hybrid after); 12-15 hours per week
