Dalhousie University's People and Culture team works to align the university's Human Resources goals with its core values, ensuring they are fully embedded across the institution so all community members feel included, supported, and empowered to thrive and contribute to the university's mission. Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President, Labour and Employee Relations, People and Culture with additional oversight from the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the People and Culture Partner (PCP) develops and leads comprehensive HR strategies aligned with both Faculty and institutional priorities. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, labour relations, and organizational design. The PCP also provides strategic guidance on workforce planning and change management, ensuring effective staffing, conflict resolution, and engagement, while working in alignment with directives from Central People and Culture.
