Our People and Culture Team is looking for an innovative, energetic individual who is ready to take on their next challenge!

The Role:

The People and Culture Administrator (PCA) is responsible for our uniform management program for Security Officers throughout the Lower Mainland. The primary responsibilities include facilitating uniform requests, organization of inventory and connecting to vendors for orders. This position will be required to lift and move boxes of uniforms on a regular basis. In addition, the PCA will assist in receptionist duties which includes answering phones and emails, data entry, human resources administration, maintenance of employee files and other record keeping. The PCA will also be responsible for the front end of the office and to ensure that they are serving as the best public facing position representing the company to potential customers and staff members, existing clients, and staff, but also visitors, business partners and third-party contractors.

This is a temporary full-time position and will start on a 1-month contract, with the possibility of extensions.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 0830hrs to 1700hrs (excluding Statutory Holidays), fully on-site based out of the Burnaby office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors, employee, interviewees, and applicants in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Provide application paperwork and assist in preliminary screening questions
  • Oversee the full uniform process, which includes but is not limited to:
+ Issuance and recovery of uniform items
+ Fit and issue uniforms to new Security Officer training group twice per week
+ Track transactions in inventory software
+ Order stock and communicate with vendors
+ Audit inventory on a regular basis
+ Respond to employee requests for items in-person, via phone or email, and through our online ticketing system
+ Provide metrics regularly for uniform costs, inventory accuracy, recovery rate, etc.
+ Issuance of final pay cheques, including notifying departing employees when ready for pick up
  • Respond to public inquires with a high level of professionalism
  • Direct calls to appropriate employees; maintain phone lists and filing systems
  • Receive and allocate incoming mail; coordinate outgoing mail and mail-outs
  • Physically receives and processes incoming and outgoing deliveries, lifting and moving boxes (up to 50 lbs).
  • Inter-branch communication and coordination of logistical arrangements
  • Photocopy and distribute documents
  • Provide administrative support to the Paladin management team as required
  • Organize meeting logistics to ensure all necessary materials and equipment have been prearranged
  • Maintain tracking tool for clients within in house software (data entry required)
  • Assist with travel booking
  • Assist with general recruitment through application screening, phone screens and background checks
  • Perform other duties and projects as requested to assist with corporate and/or branch needs
