Job Description

Pine Integrated Health Centre is a multidisciplinary centre offering essential health services to women and families. We are looking for a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist for our Sherwood Park location, who is skilled in treating concerns related to the pelvis. The ideal candidate will be able to work at least one evening and/or weekend shift each week. Daytime shifts are also available. We would like the physiotherapist to start with 3 shifts a week, with the option to progress to full time.

There will be in house referrals from our complimentary professions including Psychology, Acupuncture, SLP, Chiropractic, Lactation Consulting, Massage Therapy & Dieticians.

Must be registered, a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, and hold malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities:


- Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide pelvic health physiotherapy interventions to patients with various conditions
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
- Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in Alberta
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience and passion for working with pelvic health patients
- Able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preference for individuals with experience in both Pediatric and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
