Finch gate Physiotherapy is a patient?centered multidisciplinary physiotherapy clinic . We would like to provide evidence?based care for clients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunctions including incontinence, pelvic pain, prenatal/postnatal concerns, and related conditions. Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver therapeutic interventions, and educate clients with pelvic floor issues. This role requires strong anatomical and clinical reasoning skills, sensitivity, and experience (or specialized training) in pelvic health physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed client assessments, including history taking, physical evaluation (including internal/external pelvic floor assessment where authorized), and identification of pelvic floor dysfunctions (e.g. incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, post?surgical, prenatal/postnatal). Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence?based practice. Deliver interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, biofeedback, modalities, education on lifestyle modifications, behavioral strategies, pain management, bladder/bowel training, relaxation techniques. Provide pre? and postnatal care, support after urological, gynecological, or colorectal surgery (if applicable). Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed. Educate clients on self?management strategies; provide home exercise programs. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and treatment records. Collaborate with other healthcare providers (e.g. physicians, midwives, urologists, OBGYNs, other physiotherapists) and make referrals as needed. Participate in community education/outreach when required (workshops, classes). Stay up to date with research, continuing education and professional development in pelvic health.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy. Registered and in good standing with the

College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

. Additional certified coursework in pelvic health / pelvic floor therapy (e.g. Levels in incontinence/pelvic pain etc.) is required; advanced training is an asset. Rostered to perform internal pelvic assessments/treatment (if the role includes internal treatment). Minimum of [1?3] years of experience in pelvic health physiotherapy preferred (but new graduates with strong training may be considered). Strong interpersonal, communication, and client education skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage a caseload. Empathy, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and respect for client privacy and dignity.

Pay: $18,000.00-$20,000.00 per year
